When is the next Dodentocht ?

As a rule the next Dodentocht will always be scheduled on the 2nd Friday of August.

What should I carry during walking ?

A good mood and especially good walking shoes.  Rainwear, sun protection, a hat, dry clothes, toilet paper and personal snacks, but this differs from walker to walker.  As we start at 9 pm, a flashlight and reflectors are necessary.

Am I insured ?

Each participant is insured against accidents and damage to third parties.  Illness or injuries caused by walking are NOT insured.

What is an OGM-code ?

This is the remittance information which you need when paying the registration fee.  OGM is an abbreviation for the Dutch words “Overschrijvingen met Gestructureerde Mededeling” (bank transfers with structured remittance information).  Remittance information in OGM format always consists of 12 numerical positions and is mentioned on the bank transfer form with a start and end code with asterisks and an oblique.

Is my dog allowed to participate with me ?

Because of security reasons dogs (or any other pets) are not allowed on the trail.

Where can I find first aid posts ?

On the walking trail plan you will find the check points with first aid posts marked by a red cross (Red Cross logo).

What happens at the finish ?

At arrival you will be scanned out, you will receive a medal and a diploma, a small gift and our heartfelt congratulations.

Will I get my registration fee reimbursed if I cannot participate ?

We are very sorry, but there are no reimbursements should you be unable to start.
