100 km Dodentocht Kadee Bornem

You need to walk 100 kilometers, walking, speedwalking or jogging, in minimum ten and maximum twenty-four hours.

Each checkpoint has its own opening and closing time that must be respected by each walker. These hours will be communicated beforehand.
To participate you must be at least sixteen years old (birth year 1994 or earlier), this for reasons of medical care and insurance.

Each walker participates at own risk. All participants are, in regards to liability and physical injuries, insured according to the AKTIVA-policy. This is an insurance called ‘accidents’ so that symptoms such as syncope, sunstroke, heart complaints, … are not insured. Transport by ambulance also does not fall under this insurance. 

The subscription fee will remain during all circumstances in the full possession of the organizers.
All questions, proposals, remarks and complaints, will be sent to Postbus 100, 2880 Bornem.
Leaving before 9 p.m. is strictly forbidden. Without start-scanning or when breaking the rules, you will be scratched from the participants list and will not receive a single reward.

Participants are not allowed to take weapons or animals during the walk. 

Because of the risk for the participants it’s unadvised to follow by bicycle.
Nordic Walking is allowed, under the condition that this is limited as much as possible during the first kilometers of the trip, this to avoid tripping other walkers in the mass.
