SMS Service
There are 2 different ways(to subscribe) to find the location of your favorite pedestrian via a sms message on your mobile phone.
1st Method
You can send a text message with EN and startnumber to 6019. The only thing that you have to know is the startnumber of the pedestrian that you are going to follow. If you want to kown this number, you can call to +32 3 8893545 starting from Friday afternoon.
Immediately after that, you will receive an sms message with the name of the requested person. Starting from that time, you will receive an sms message everytime that the person passes one of our controle-stations. The content of this message will highlite the name, which controle-station and the actual time.
After 50 kilometres, you will also be informed by SMS about an expected finish/arrival time.
For example : You want to follow 'Peeters Peter' from Bornem with start number 4321.
SMS EN4321 to number 6019
- The SMS message that you will receive is: "From now on, you will receive an SMS message every time 4321 Peeters Peter (Bornem) passes a controle-station.".
After every controle-station: "4321 - Peter Peeters has reached Ruisbroek, Vrije basisschool (27,89km) 09 Aug 02:08 - speed 5,74 km/h"
On the finish in Bornem : "4321 - Peter Peeters has reached Bornem, Kerkplein. Arrival 09 Aug 18:41 congratulations - speed 5,21 km/h"
When that person has stopped. "4321 - Peter Peeters has stopped around 09 Aug 16:13"
Cost per message:
0,5€/1 received message.
Unsubscribe
If you want to unsubscribe of this SMS service(method 1) for all participants, send the message STOP to 6019.
If you want to unsubscribe of the sms service(method 1) of only one participant (ex. 817), send the message STOP817 to 6019.
The SMS message you will receive is : "Stop tracking for participant 817"
2nd Method
You send a message with content 'where'(start number) to 6019. Immidiatly after this, you will receive a message, according to our calculations, where the requested person is.
Example : If you want to find out where Jan Janssens from city Temse is with start number 1234 :
SMS WHERE1234 to number 6019
=> The SMS message will look like this : "1234 - Jan Janssens was on 09 Aug 12:30 at controle-station Lippelo, t Scholeke (80,14km) and should be in 84,23km Oppuurs, Meir"
