Want to exchange your ticket or transfer it to someone else?
It is no longer possible to sell your ticket or buy a ticket via DotoSwap.
Want to exchange your ticket or transfer it to someone else?
Start using our Doto Swap from 15 July.
What do you need to know about DotoSwap?
- Payment is handled entirely by the 100Km Dodentocht organisers. The seller receives their money via the organisers.
- To exchange your ticket and transfer it to another name, you’ll need to pay a 5-euro administration fee. The buyer also pays via the organisers.
Please note!
- If you buy a ticket that is not in your own name, you will not be insured during the 100KM Dodentocht.
- DO NOT buy or sell tickets via Ticketswap or any other channels.
- Under no circumstances should payments be made directly between participants. All payments and refunds must be processed entirely via Dotoswap.
I’ve registered but can’t take part
I have …
- someone who can take my place (a buyer). I’ll list my entry on Dotoswap and pass on the buyer’s contact details.
- no one who can take my place. I’ll list my entry on Dotoswap and wait for a potential buyer to express an interest in taking over my entry.
I haven’t registered yet and would like to take part.
I have …
- someone who wants to sell their subscription to me. I’m waiting to receive an email with a voucher in my inbox. I’ll ask the seller to initiate the transfer via DotoSwap, or I’ll ask them for the order reference so that I can do it on their behalf. Then I’ll wait to receive an email with a voucher in my inbox.
- No one wants to sell their entry to me. I keep an eye on the list of entries on offer on Dotoswap. When I see an entry I like, I select it and go through the necessary steps.
How DotoSwap works
Step 1 - Start
Surf to https://swap.dodentocht.be and enter the following details:
- the reference number of the order for which you wish to initiate a transfer.
- the email address of the person taking over the order.
Step 2 - Confirmation by the provider
We will send an email to the email address used during registration. This email will contain a link to the swap website where the offerer can accept (or decline) the transfer.
This link remains valid for 6 hours.
Step 3 - Confirmation by the transferee
Once the seller has confirmed, we will send an email to the recipient (the address entered in step 1).
The recipient must also confirm that they wish to proceed with the transfer.
This link remains valid for 6 hours.
Step 4 - Create a new order
Once the transferee has confirmed, they will receive an email containing a voucher code which they can use to place a new “swap” order.
This link remains valid for 6 hours.
When placing this order, the transferee must fill in the requested details, confirm the order and make the payment.
A temporary, fictitious start number will be assigned to this order; once payment has been made, the correct start number will be transferred from the original order to the new order.
Step 5 - Closing
Once the new order has been paid for, the following will take place:
- the start number will be transferred
- the original order will be cancelled and the amount paid (minus a €5 cancellation fee) will be refunded to the provider
- the provider will receive an email confirming that the transfer was successful
!!! Point to note
If you purchase a ticket that includes extras (a T-shirt and/or a meal), these extras will not initially appear in your order.
However, once you have placed your order, it will temporarily be marked as ‘Pending approval’. At that point, the extras will be added to the order and you can proceed with payment.
This usually takes just 1 to 2 minutes, and you will receive an email when you are ready to make the payment.
