The Internal Department is responsible for preparing and processing the registrations. We have been organising pick-up days for a number of years now to limit the demand on the day of departure. These days are very successful and also require a thorough preparation.Â
This team also works in the tent on the Kardinaal Cardijnplein during the Dodentocht. They ensure that hikers receive their chip, answer any questions of both hikers and supporters at the information booth, and hand out medals and certificates to finishers.Â
The Dodentocht Shop is a sub-department within the Internal Department. Dodentocht memorabilia are very popular. The Internal Department is responsible for restocking the store and finding fun and new items, as well as working in the shop during the Dodentocht weekend.Â
